In 2026, the AMASING association, in close collaboration with the Union of Parishes of Aldoar, Foz do Douro and Nevogilde, will host the 7th edition of CONVIMUS – International Music Festival, under the artistic direction of conductor and violinist Dr Eliseu Silva.
Some of the event’s activities are free of charge, such as the daily concerts and exhibitions. However, the National Young Violinist Competition and the International Chamber Music Competition, the masterclasses and the orchestral conducting course all have an entry fee, so that we can offer the best possible conditions to participants and bring brilliant artists to Porto.
The National Young Violinist Competition is open to violinists, whilst the International Chamber Music Competition is open to players of bowed and plucked string instruments, wind and keyboard players, and singers. As for the masterclasses, we will be offering masterclasses in violin, flute, piano and chamber music. The exhibitions are open to the general public. Furthermore, the daily concerts feature a variety of groups and styles, making them appealing to all audiences.
